Older postURGENT! We are looking for Ballast Engineer for Barge Simmar Star, 2011year built.Russia sitizen with good English.Joining date 25 of march 2011 in Ravenna Italy.Owner-Denmark.The ballast engineer will have to:
Maintain the ballast system and associated equipment on barge (generators, pumps, winches,..)
Operate the ballast system according to client instructions during the various operation.
Assist the client during the various port operation.
The barge has no accommodation and the engineer will never sail on the barge. Either the engineer will be a rider on the tug or will fly directly from departure port to discharging port.
Trading area is for the next three years: Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Caspian Sea.
