We have open vacancy for Loading Master in Nigeria. Salary 9000 USD.



JOB PROFILE :

The superintendent would be staying on board to represent Owners and to protect Owners interests –

please see below typical tasks and duties.



OVERALL SUPERVISION OF VESSEL’S CARGO OPERATIONS



- fulltime supervision of operations by the surveyor. charterer’s to be kept fully updated during the course of operations



- coordination of all cargo operations with the terminal/vessel, inspection company and the vessel's staff



- supervising the attending inspection company personnel



- witnessing of tanks inspections/gauging/measurements



- supervising tank cleaning



- determining the receiving ship's readiness to receive cargo (tanks/lines cleanliness, advising last three cargoes etc)



- witnessing that any cargo sampling done by the independent inspection company is as per correct procedures



- ensuring that the vessel is pumping her cargo efficiently and maintaining back pressure in accordance with the charter party.

FULL INVENTORY REPORT ON A DAILY BASIS



- stowage plan/inventory showing cargo on board along with rob bunkers to be sent on a daily basis



REDUCTION OF CARGO LOSSES



- to control and plan actual reduction in losses



- investigation into real losses (physical losses caused by such events as theft, leakage and sabotage)



- investigation of apparent losses (paper losses caused by erroneous procedures such as measurements, sample handling and calculation)



PREPARATION OF B/L’S AND CARGO DOCS



- in case so requested by charterers



BUNKER SURVEYS/ONHIRE–OFFHIRE SURVEYS



SUPERVISION OF POSSIBLE BLENDING OPERATIONS AND CROSS CHECKING BLEND CALCULATION IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE BLENDS
